What is CAPilot?
CAPilot is a web-based practice management platform for Chartered Accountant firms in India. Does CAPilot replace Tally?
No, and it is not meant to. Tally handles bookkeeping and accounting entries. CAPilot handles everything around the practice: who the clients are, which filings are due, who is doing what, invoicing the firm’s own fees, and client communication. CAPilot exports Tally-formatted registers so the two work side by side.
Which compliance deadlines does CAPilot track?
GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual), income-tax returns and advance tax, TDS returns, ROC and MCA filings, and any custom recurring task you define per client. Each due date is assigned to a team member with reminders, and the dashboard shows what is overdue, due this week and in progress across the whole firm.
Is CAPilot suitable for a solo practitioner?
Yes. The Solo plan at ₹499/month is built for one CA managing up to 75 clients from a single office. It includes client management, task tracking, GST invoicing, basic reports and Tally-formatted registers. You can upgrade to Growth when you add staff.
Is my client data secure?
Data is hosted in encrypted storage, served over SSL, backed up daily, and isolated per firm in a multi-tenant architecture. Role-based access controls what each staff member can see. CAPilot is built and operated by TulsiX Technologies, a registered Indian company, and is subject to Indian data-protection law.
